Q: How do I create an account?
A: Download the app and follow the on-screen instructions. You'll need a phone number to verify your account.
Q: I forgot my password / Can't log in
A: Orbit Messenger uses phone number authentication. If you're having trouble, try:
- Ensure you're using the correct phone number
- Check that you have a stable internet connection
- Request a new verification code
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Q: Why aren't my messages sending?
A: Check your internet connection. If the problem persists:
- Restart the app
- Check if you're blocked by the recipient
- Ensure you have the latest app version
Q: Can I recover deleted messages?
A: Once messages are deleted, they cannot be recovered. However, if disappearing messages are enabled, they may still be visible to recipients until they expire.

A: Open the chat with the user, tap their name, then select "Block User" from the options.

A: In a chat, tap the attachment icon, then select "Location." You can share your current location or enable live location sharing.
Q: How do I make a voice or video call?

Q: The app is crashing
A: Try these steps:
1. Close and restart the app
2. Update to the latest version
3. Restart your device
4. Reinstall the app (your data will be preserved if you're logged in)
Q: Push notifications aren't working
A: Check your device settings:
1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Orbit Messenger
2. Ensure notifications are enabled
3. Check that "Allow Notifications" is turned on
Q: I can't see nearby users
A: Ensure:
- Location services are enabled for the app
- Bluetooth is enabled (for nearby discovery)
- You've granted location permissions
